Vision

Interpretation of an idea or feeling has always been a strong guidance in my life. Awareness of beauty, solitude, stillness, the essence of a moment, is a goal I strive for. My work is created when these two concepts meet. Color, shape, texture and rhythm are used with the purpose of telling these abstract stories. Working with metal allows me to create doorways or windows that invite a personal connection to the piece. Patina is used to etch the metal, creating a softness and other worldiness. It is through varied processes that the unique textures are achieved and give each piece its own individual story.
